I love that they are romantic mysteries and that the mysteries are so different than your traditional mystery. But the way the story unfolds is just really charming. This book was a fun quick read, but I felt that sometimes things happened too quickly without adequate development. It isn’t a leap to consider we influence other people. I’m starting the third one in the series and have found connections to the first book and it’s characters, which I like. Atherton’s Dimity books are the coziest of duek, and this one is very pleasant, including castle ruins, gardens, not-so-young lovers, secret passages, and intricate and mostly pointless plot elements.
Once you get over this minor shock, however, you will love this book.
Also in Aunt Dimity Mystery. Nov 01, Pages. It seemed a very labor intensive way of setting up neighbors for Lori and family who know of Aunt Dimity. She comes from a large, gregarious family five brothers and two sisters! I am on an Aunt Dimity binge!

I was over halfway into the book when I realized this story took place before the first book and that Aunt Dimity was still alive. Notify me of new dimigy via email. I’m totally ok with “suspension of disbelief”, but really.
Aug 29, Cyndi auht it really liked it. This author isn’t conjuring angles willy nilly. Well the romance is but not the mystery element.
The second book in the Aunt Dimity series, however in this book Aunt Dimity seemed to be more of an afterthought than a key figure. I am so glad there are more Aunt Dimity books to be read. I found this book appealing fimity annoying with annoyance winning in the end.
