A lot, in retrospective, like The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, only with a heck of a lot less talk and a heck of a lot more bullets. For what looked to be a formidable invading force proves only the forerunner of a much vaster army – one that is now marching against the Four Lands in all its fury.

In mid, Gemmell was on a trip to Alaska when gemell became discomforted. Even if your suspension of disbelief must be thoroughly turned off for this read, and you must learn to roll with it much like Jon Shannow himself is forced to. But they overcome, and the cocky kids become heroes, too.
