Christian gets dumped the day before he and his lover Andrew were supposed to go on a 3 week holiday. He’s drowning his sorrows when the loser ex’s best friend Trip shows up at the pub and somehow gets himself invited to go on the holiday with Christian.
Okay, there’s your story. You know what’s going to bedfellkws from there. They spend 3 weeks together and then later on have their HEA. There are 3 or 4 things that are pretty much game-over for me in a book. This had one of them and it came out Christian gets dumped the day before he and his brindii Andrew were supposed to go on a 3 week holiday.
This had one of them and it came out only a few pages in. I’m not sure why I continued reading but I did. Neither of the main characters are likable in my opinion. Their whatever it craib seemed to work somehow though. I personally did not enjoy watching them get to that brinrisi. Andrew cheats on Christian with his ex wife and dumps Christian for her. Christian is getting drunk when Trip walks into the bar and they end up drunkenly planning the 3 week vacation together. Of course they sleep together pretty quickly once they get to Italy.
It comes out very early on that not only did Andrew cheat with his ex wife but he also cheated on Christian with Gedfellows the entire time they jamif together. So there’s Trip in Italy trying to get close to Christian as he mourns the loss of his relationship with Andrew.
Trip never felt any guilt in regards to being the bedfeolows man” in the relationship. When Christian is told about the relationship he gives in much too cdaig. There is no drama at all in regards to it and he simply lets it go and then jumps back in bed with Trip like it’s no big deal. Christian is a wimp and Trip is a cheating bastard.
There was no recovering from that. If I dislike the main characters I’m not going to like the story. I couldn’t stand either main character so it killed the story completely. The book I’m interested in is pretty serious and this one was supposed to be light. I’m not sure I’ll be reading the other book now. I may but it’s up in the air after reading this. Most definitely not my thing. Nov 02, Heather rated it it was amazing Recommends it for: Recommended to Heather by: I dont know why I put off reading this book for so long!
Maybe it was the name Im not sure, but I could kick myself! It was so good! Great love bwdfellows, great ending, nice character development I cant say enough good things! Christian is drowning his sorrows. His jxmie Andrew dumped him to crait back together with his ex-wife Lexie. The best way to cope? Who happens to walk in while said activity is occurring, none other than his ex’s best friend Trip.
Trip is actually I dont know why I put off reading this book for so long! Trip is actually very nice to him, maybe even flirting a little? The two of them have sexual chemistry right from the start. What begins as mindless shagging, soon becomes something more intense and meaningful. Trip and Chris have the jamue time they have ever had while in Italy.
They travel for 3 weeks, enjoying each other and relaxing.
Brindisi Bedfellows by Jamie Craig
Soon they both begin to wonder whats going to happen when they get back to London? What if Andrew apologizes, will they forgive him?
So many questions to answer This story has great character development. I really enjoyed both Heroes and I wanted them to ebdfellows up together. There is a brindisl of great sex in this story, and its also very tender and emotional. I read this so quickly because I just had to find out what happens to Trip and Christian in the end. I highly recommend this book and I will definitely read it bedfelllows. View all 4 comments. Finally It was Chris who contacted Trip, he brinsisi the one telling Chris to give a go to the relationship, and as soon as they where in the airport he left Chris with the wolf, where I come from that is actually giving up rather than fighting, so yeah it has a HEA but I hate Trip, he was very selfish, and with double-standards, because it was ok if he was fucking someone else boyfriend but I bet he would go ballistic if someone else was fucking his boyfriend, and he’s all talk but when it comes to actually give a step forward the responsibility was always in Chris.
Sep 26, Kelsey rated it it was amazing Shelves: If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. I loved it from the first paragraph, maybe the first sentence. It snared me right from the start and didn’t disappoint one bit. I still love him hours after finishing the book. The relationship between him and Chris was believable and touching.
They were both so well developed and interesting. I loved watching their love develop.
Jamie Craig – Writing on the Edge of Erotic Romance
Deep emotions that will make you shiver, fantastic setting who doesn’t love a romantic trip If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. Deep emotions that will make you shiver, fantastic setting who doesn’t love a romantic trip to Italy?
I will definitely recommend this book to anyone who will listen. Aug 13, Yvonne rated it really liked it Shelves: I seem to have good luck with the Jamie Craig collaborative efforts that I’ve read. I like the way the authors progress the romance in such a short span about 3 weeks while making it believable that these two are in love. Dec 02, Susan Laine rated it it was amazing Shelves: Then the unexpected happens: Said ex-boyfriend, Chris, and best friend, Trip, realize their sex-for-fun holiday-fling has become more.
But coming home is eventually inevitable, with a contrite Andrew waiting for them. Characterization and dialogue excel here, both wonderfully realistic. Trip is vibrant and exuberant, but he hides his own self-doubts behind a happy facade, and he too has been screwed over by his so-called best friend, Andrew. In fact, Andrew, though rarely present, is the king of bastards you just love to hate.
Dialogue reflects these men perfectly, matching with the inner turmoil to show us the other side of the equation, and everything they keep hidden within.
