Not only is it displeasing to the eye, but it gives the book an agenda that might be a turnoff to the casual reader. I am in no way a environmentalist but I didn’t realise the cafp these factory farms cause to t A very thought provoking and difficult read.
It is difficult to read as the cruelty to the animals is heartbreaking but it is worth going through the experience.

In a CAFO, animals are crammed by the thousands or tens of thousands, often unable ondustrial breathe fresh air, see the light of day, walk outside, peck at a ov or insects, scratch the earth, or eat a blade of grass. It is important to be reminded of our capacity for empathy and our power to relieve certain atrocities via personal choice, when so many world issues seem beyond our influence.
Although I “knew” factory farming was bad I was both afraid of seeing the images and unaware of how terrible it really is.
