Preview — The Candidates by Inara Scott. Always living under the radar, never doing anything to draw attention to herself, she finds it impossible that she has gotten a full ride into WOW!

Dancia chooses to ignore her power and enters the big fat land of denial.

But as the school year progresses, Dancia wonders why she’s here, she isn’t gifted outside of her special abilities, and they couldn’t possibly know about them, could they? How fucking naive can Dancia be? I thought it was a little slow at times, but there was a lot dandidates background information that was presented.

What would you have done? But then you become like every candiidates YA heroine, stupid and madly in love with a person as equally stupid as you. If you ask me, life’s too short to read something you don’t enjoy. The book didn’t start delving into the “gift” Danica has until closer to the end of the book, but to be completely honest In fact, I think he is kind of a sleaze bucket.

The Best of Intentions As the book opens, you learn that Dancia has an extraordinary talent, but is terrified to use it because of the consequences it brings. How would Cam react? See 1 question about The Candidates….

Jack seems to think so. Friends would soon discover that she’s a special, gifted freak of nature her words.

I thought the only noteworthy downfall for this book was the lack in descriptions of the setting. Provide examples and discuss your reaction.

Just like the review has no purpose, the book itself has no purpose! Everything about this novel screams originality and freshness.

For some reason he just gave me a funny feeling.

The Candidates

Do you think he made the right choices? So Dancia does everything possible to avoid getting close to anyone, believing this way she can suppress her powers and keep them hidden. Scott, you are responsible for all mindblowing headaches and screaming fits I experienced while reading this book.
