Aldous Leonard Huxley was an English writer and one of the most prominent members of the famous Huxley family. It’s fascinating, insightful, and provided more food for thought than pretty much everything I read in combined.
So even just in the course of an individual life, the brain gradually imposes tighter limits on itself until all you have is bills and doctors appointments.
